About Storylines United

We belong together, and together with God.
— cf. 1 John 1:1-4

Storylines United guides people on their journey to know God, helping them encounter His love and share that love with others.

MISSION

Sharing in eternal life together, and together with God — making his Kingdom home, doing good in the world, and making room for one more.

Eternal life starts now — shared with God and with each other. We help people learn to make God's kingdom feel like home and to do good in the world as a way of life, always keeping the door open for one more person to find their place in the story. We belong together, and together with God.

VISION

Brought home to make a home — a companionship of saints with the Father and the Son, growing into Kingdom life, until the world knows Love.

We have been brought home to make a home — God rescues people not just for their own sake but so that something new becomes possible in the world. A community growing into Kingdom life together, where the Father and the Son are genuinely present, begins to look like something the world doesn't yet have a name for. Until the world knows Love, the work continues.

POSITION STATEMENT

Behold. Grasp. Held.

To know — God, a neighbor, a place — requires more than gathering information. It requires loving, attentive orientation. Not as a detached observer but as an engaged participant. Knowing is a grasping, bodily and relational, the kind that happens inside a covenant rather than outside it. And in the end, we find we are being held by the subject of our beholding and grasping.

PROMISE

Tend the fellowship. Love the neighborhood.

We are companions on a knowing journey, held together by something older and larger than any of us. We have been brought home, so we know what it is like to belong. We give our neighbors the same loving attention we have received. Tending and loving are the same posture facing in two directions.
