RESCUED & RESETTLED

Christian, you have been rescued and resettled. Rescued from harassment and helplessness (Matt. 9:36). Resettled to God’s kingdom. His family. You live life under God’s authority and in his care. And by his grace all things have been made new (2 Cor. 5:17). You have inherited a new family, a new identity, and a new King who also reveals himself as Father. You’ve received a new culture and tradition that’s rooted in love. Now your storyline is united with other Jesus followers—and with the Father and the Son (1 John 1:3).
