Reelfoot Lake
I once lived near this picturesque lake, a wound in the earth caused by a massive earthquake in the early 1800s. Earthquakes, glaciers, volcanoes, and mining activities leave scars behind. We have our scars, too. But these divots, depressions, pits, and valleys can become refreshing pools of grace. We feel the violence that caused them. But maybe others can find something beautiful there, something they're drawn to.

Uh, what did he say?
My life's broadcast can be hard to interpret, even for me. Attempts to patiently leaven culture can seem like mumbling. I still carry a thick accent from the dominion I was rescued from.
It's partly why I write. A transcript helps bring clarity.
Time Lapse Formation
All of us have learned. We all have come to new conclusions. When we change our minds, people need us to show our work. Those who see an abrupt change could think we have just 'switched sides'. Without a view into the process, they will write a story to make sense of things. "Did it for money." "Did it to fit in." A lot happened between the two snapshots. Share the process. It might be instructive. It might even be persuasive.

The God of the Bible looks like Jesus, the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being. It would be just like him to go to the cross.
