My People
...if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. — 2 Chronicles 7:14
Since Abraham, God's approach has been to work with a called-out people. Sometimes many thousands of people; sometimes just a remnant. The best gift to the nation(s) is a people who humbly dwell before the face of God.
Be Prepared
But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect... — 1 Peter 3:15
The opening question is, "Why are you so hopeful?" Now, with gentleness and respect, I can share from my experience how I have found God's revelations to be true, trustworthy, secure, and freeing.
I Pledge
In you, Lord my God, I put my trust. Show me your ways, Lord, teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long. ⏤ Psalm 25:1,4-5
Knowing starts with trust. Who do I trust enough to offer my loyalty? More than offer ⏤ pledge. Trust, a pledge of allegiance, and love (gift of self) form a covenant package that will establish my steps. Others may want this package from me, but it belongs to God alone.

The God of the Bible looks like Jesus, the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being. It would be just like him to go to the cross.
